Photessa Support
Photessa analyzes your photo library on your device to help you find, organize, and review photos. You remain in control of every deletion.
Why do I need to allow Photos access?
Photessa needs access to the items you want to scan. If access is limited, it can only work with the photos and videos you have selected in the system permission sheet. You can change access in your device's Settings.
What does the free scan include?
Free scans include your 500 most recent photos and videos. Choosing a narrower scan category does not move that window to older items. Full Scan is a one-time purchase that removes the 500-item limit. There is no subscription.
How do I restore Full Scan?
Open Full Scan in Photessa and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account used to buy it. If the product or purchase is unavailable, check your App Store connection and try again. If it still fails, contact us with the device model, system version, and the exact message shown. Please do not send personal photos or payment details.
Does Photessa delete anything automatically?
No. Cleanup suggestions need your review and confirmation. Photos also shows its own confirmation before moving selected items to Recently Deleted.
Where is my analysis stored?
On your device. Photessa has no account or cloud database. You can erase its analysis from the Privacy screen without deleting your original photos. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Why are some cloud photos skipped?
Photessa follows your Cloud Photos setting. A scan may skip an original that is only in iCloud when downloads are disabled or the current connection is not allowed. Change that setting in Photessa and scan again when your device is connected.
